A 1 week ERASMUS+ Teacher Training Course about the use of Web Platforms and ICT tools for the Classroom
SUGGESTED COMPUTER PROFICIENCY: BASIC
This course is designed for teachers who would like to further their knowledge on the use of ICT in class and to experiment with new enjoyable tools. The course will focus on web solutions such as Edmodo, Google educational tools, online Quizzes and others.
During the course, participants will learn by doing: working in groups, they will have the opportunity to test different tools directly and to share examples about how to use them in class.
The techniques acquired in the course will enable teachers to make their lessons more engaging for their students thus making them more effective.
Upon completion of the course teachers will be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of many different ICT tools and will know how to exploit them in the classroom in a safe and useful way.
Guided city tours and a one day excursion will be also part of the programme.

• Utilization of innovative web solutions in classes
• Understand the importance of involving students in the process
Day 2
• Use of Google Classroom for distance education
• Creating online classes, ensuring that students take part in these classes
• Communication from different cities and countries; come together at online classes
Day 3
• Creating multimedia course materials through audio-visual elements
• Uploading the created materials to Drive, sharing with students and other teachers
• Creating exam applications such as and exam follow-up
Day 4
• Utilizing mobile devices in the classroom
• Efficient use of smart boards
• Effectuation of multilateral interactive training sessions through distance learning tools
• Sharing experiences of trainers from distance
Day 5
• Participation in social and cultural activities,
• Application of participation surveys and evaluation meeting
Day 6
• Evolution of general outline of STEM / maker applications in Europe and in our country,
• Explanation of the contribution of STEM / Maker applications to education and life,
Day 7
• Applications to disciplines of STEM approach
• Adaptation of STEM approach to in-school activities
• Planning experiments and exercises to enable students to produce
• Creating a lesson plan according to the STEM approach
Day 8
- Creating lesson plans based on learning by practicing
- To design a mechanism according to discipline and to make the design that student can produce it
Day 9
• Introduction to electronic circuits
• Teaching digital and analog very in Arduino
• Recognizing the elements in the Arduino board
• Pin table components
• Using the servo motor
Day 10
• Utilizing mobile devices in the classroom
• Efficient use of smart boards
• Effectuation of multilateral interactive training sessions through distance learning tools
• Sharing experiences of trainers from distance
Course learning outcomes
– Audiovisual Platforms: how to make a search easier, creating playlists about different topics, sharing and embedding videos and playlists;
– Online platforms for communication and sharing: managing a virtual classroom, sending assignments, searching and sharing useful materials, communicating with students and parents;
– Google Drive and Google Apps used as educational resources;
– Motivating students through serious digital games and online quizzes.
